This composition is beautiful. I have got to have this printed and framed on my wall. That way, when GC is finally taken down and raided by the fascist government, while my house and neighborhood are being destroyed in a great firestorm of bullets and grenades, I can hide under a pile of rubble, gripping your framed essay, close, remembering a happier time, knowing that I must protect the fragile memory. Also, the contradiction of perceptions in relation to time is pretty astounding.
