It just seemed really odd to me. Especially since I don't think it would help at all with hygiene. The plastic coating leaves a sticky substance underneath which would seem to me to be more unsanitary then the cloth it is supposed to protect.

Instead of a piece of plastic, a pattern resembling smiling mouth w/ extended tongue sewn into the same place would be much better.
