Not to mention I think it was stupid of whomever to punish the girl. She will have no idea what she was punished for. She will think, what, punished for trusting this other adult family member who I was just handing out with?

I don't agree with her being punished either, but I understand why she was.

If she'd been with me there wouldn't have been any problem. I am an adult and would've kept track of her and kept her where she was supposed to be. But she was with another young girl, who was all of 11 or 12 I believe. At any rate, she was old enough to know not to stray from the pool area.
