Thank you for your reply. I understand your right to remove as you see fit; with cause or without.
However, you have stated there is cause and I would disagree... if I may be permitted to argue my points.
There was nothing there that was unlawful, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or hateful; nothing that violates the privacy of anyone, no pornography, child erotica, nor child pornography. As for offensive, indecent or objectionable, that would be undefined, considering that you, the support team, could find a painting of a horse objectionable or indecent, so censoring me for these reasons is unarguable.
As for illustrated nudity, while it is acknowledged that your rules forbid this, I would like to know why it is forbidden. There are many major artworks depicting nudity ... adult as well as child ... yet they are not illustrated nudity? You cannot have an image of The Dying Gaul [edit - link removed], something that is illustrating nudity, you cannot have an image nude little girls such as [edit link removed]?
Again, I do not contend with your removing the images. I am just trying to reconcile your reasoning with reality.
Was there anything there that was permitted? May I have an account to do that?
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Cordially,

Gimwinkle

Dear Gim Winkle,

Your account contained images which violate our Terms of Use. These Terms apply to all users regardless of the Public/Private setting of the account. When you created the account, you agreed to abide by these terms and we clearly explained the consequences of violating those terms.

Photobucket.com attempts to maintain a website that is absent of offensive, indecent or objectionable content. That is our general policy and your images were removed in accordance with that policy. The Photobucket.com Terms of Use, found at http://www.photobucket.com/terms, reflect that policy by giving Photobucket the right to remove content that, among other things, (a) it deems unlawful, obscene, harmful, threatening, defamatory, or hateful; (b) invades the privacy of any third party; (c) contains nudity, illustrated nudity, pornography, illustrated pornography, child erotica, or child pornography; or (d) Photobucket deems otherwise objectionable.

Sincerely,

Your Photobucket Support Team
