Americans dont understand that, though

Americans (OK, not all, but too many) rabidly oppose Latin American immigration. But they also oppose the trade agreements with Latin America that would send the jobs immigrants have in the USA to the southern neighbors - thereby stopping immigration at the source.

I don't believe in schizophrenia, but that's just my definition of it.
