But, why complicate it?
If she asked you to be her boyfriend, you can very well say "yes, I'd love to be your boyfriend".
It doesn't have to imply that you two do anything that you wouldn't do anyway without the word, or (especially!) anything that would be illegal to do.
If she wants to call you that, so be it.
At most, tell her to ask for her parents' permission to have a boyfriend - but any further than that is, imho, too much (and sometimes even that might be too much, but it really depends on the parents).
And you have the advantage of no heartbreak and no betrayal.
