Nope, "Too" was correct, if you meant that the heat was excessive.

But naturally, 36°C is a cool day, especially in one of those dry places with less than 90% humidity, so I don't know why you mentioned it.

(True story: I knew a fellow from Arizona who complained that he was used to temperatures up to 47°C at home, but 40°C in the humidity of the Southeast USA was much, much worse.)
