I find the idea of feminine-looking boys appealing, and ones that feel and dress as girls even more so. I think there is a transgender person in each one of us, to a small extent, perhaps.
Speaking for myself, I certainly enjoy wearing feminine type clothing, and if It was more accepted, I would wear it openly. However, the area I live in is very conservative and pacho-macho.
The only thing that seems very drastic about this phenomenon is of course GRS, and I wish there was an alternate solution. I have a letter addressed to a lover or close friend from a transgender musician (it was enclosed with a recording of their performance that I found in a second-hand store) that describes this drastic transition. Removing "useless" bits, etc.
The universal question: as with paedophilia, I wonder if people are born transgender. Likely very little research exists.
