Oh, I agree about the theme of the Vid being important.
Vids have been posted at GC on it from legitimate news sources, as have links been made to print journalism on the theme.
The rules aren't here to squelch discussion of transgendered youth. They are here to make sure, among other things, that GC isn't involved in the distribution of material involving kids whose necessary legal clearances were never properly obtained. This is something standard to the broadcast media, but almost unheard of among those who upload content directly to YouTube.
There are times I've been frustrated at being unable to link to a Wikipedia page because of its illustration with a depiction of the nude human form ( say a greek statue,) violating the GC posting rules.
As is typical with YouTube, there were a few other links on the very same page which did meet all three of the posting criteria. However, its still the case that you were calling folks attention to the vid, rather than using the vid to illustrate the content of your post.
Imagine whether the post would stand up without the link ⚠️ ↗, or would seem meaningless, to judge whether its an illustration to a legitimate post, or merely a "Hey, check this out," type of post.
