If it's possible for you to lay off the liquor, and if you are not dependent on it, and can learn to avoid writing under the influence, then I see no reason why you would not still be perfect for B4U-Act. I will e-mail you more info on this. You are a compassionate person with a lot of intelligence and wisdom, you are a good and articulate speaker, you are confident with your sexuality and do not see your natural desires as making you "sick" or evil, and you are law-abiding, and these are the most important prerequisites for volunteering for B4U-Act. Everyone exercises less than perfect judgement at times. We just have to be careful, and one of the ways to remain as careful as possible is to avoid doing anything after becoming inebriated except to lay down in bed and sleep it off. Posting or writing letters during such times are not wise, but I think you have learned that lesson, so I don't worry about you doing it again.
