As like you, when I hear a little girl or boy laughing or shouting happily, etc. nearby I always get very curious, and can't help but to look over.

Hell, I even look up at the TV when I hear I child's voice, no matter what I'm absorbed in. I did it yesterday. I was sitting here on the comp, absorbed in the Net, and I didn't realize that Bewitched was playing on TV . . . until Tabitha came on. I immediately looked up, and that's when I realized that show was on. :-D
