I just feel like the boards serve no point nowadays. I think if you're not for activism, then get the fuck out! Newgon is where it's at.

Just don't forget that not all boards can be lumped together... you tout Newgon and it is a board. I admin a board that is very pro-activism... if (for example) facilitating greater and greater practical sovereignty by developing online and offline networks, living spaces, and alternatives to the State counts as activism to you! How about recognizing and reaching out to women and mothers with Girl-Love and Girl-Lust like few others do. Developing our own functional material and moral support networks starting HERE AND NOW rather hoping for some hazy pedotopia far off in the future. I will grant, we don't beg the State for permission to be who we are. But that form of activism is a dead end. The political gays tried it and look how they've ended up.
