I could use a swig myself! I believe we will eventually win but DAMN it will be a hard fight. A long fight. A movement needs personalities and we have none--prolly because anyone who sticks their neck out gets HAMMERED with bad press.

I had a heated hour-long argument with someone about a 10 year-old's right to leave their home. I argued that if rights are objectively real, and we get these rights when we are created (i.e. the right to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness) then the kid has every right to leave a household for any reason, or no reason.

I didn't say anything about age of consent laws but MAN what a fight. It was calm logic, versus unrestrained emotion from an otherwise mellow person. This is what we face.
