Can this be bad for us?

The fact that Utah has just (for the first time in a decade and a half) used the firing squad to execute a convicted killer ??

I can just see people wanting to put us in front of those firing squads. This is likely going to cause people-in-general to become more aggressive and to want to see death up close and personal. I fear this aggresssion may soon get aimed directly at us, eventually. Do you think it will? And do you think this rise in aggression will cause laws regarding our peds to become yet even more draconian?

Me personally, I wasn't always, but am now against the death penalty. I don't think officials should be given the right to kill people. After all, 2 wrongs don't make a right, right? And all it will do is create an appetite for death in the mouths of our officials. So therefore it is not a wise practice, in any culture that has peace as it's goal. But then do we really have peace as our goal? Prolly not! We're only told peace is our goal. But it is not!
