The news feeds on the negative. Never mind that its a statistical anomaly. If its new and horrific it will get reported.

And internet anonymity brings out all the threats nobody will carry out. If it weren't otherwise, every 13 year old boy online would've destroyed their family and community by now.

If you take these statements at face value you will grow jaded.

We aren't outnumbered. We just have better things to do with our time than create 100 sock puppets to magnify our own fantasies.
