Gentleman, and Ladies

I would, for one moment, call your attention to our cause.

I fully realize that some amongst us may feel this a hopeles cause, but I for one would like to say 'nay'.

Far from being a hopeless cause, our cause has only just begun. We have, despite the naysayers' doctrine, a cogent cause behind us, and one that we will, someday, win.

It will take time, I acknowledge. But, nevertheless, it is something that I am sure we will win.

So, we must continue to fight, and so to win.

In the meantime, I have a large Scotch in my hand, who is demanding attention...
