I'm pretty sure he was originally from the U.S., or at least spent the majority of his childhood here. He was adopted by a U.S. family.

I suppose that would make sense. Still, I think would be a stretch to say that Latin American societies are as relaxed about pedophilia as hebephilia.

(As you've probably noticed, I'm doubtful of many categorizations, but I don't want this post to be dissertation-length so they'll do in a pinch.)

Whistling at a 12 year old might be less likely to leave a man with a black eye or worse, but what about falling for her 7 year old sister? Does anyone here seriously believe someone with pedophilia as their primary attraction doesn't face discrimination in such countries?
