That reminds me of a friend I had who really opened my eyes a few years back. He was attracted to girls primarily 12 years old and when I first heard it I was stunned, at the time, I hadn't fully made the connection that a person could have those feelings and still be a decent person. I could tell that he would never wittingly do anything to hurt anyone so there was no way that I could maintain any sense of manufactures outrage.
It wasn't long after admitting this to myself that I realized that my admiration of pre-pubescent girls went deeper than just finding them to be cute.
