I mean if you were presented with a choice: either you can continue to hang out with the girl[s] you love (strictly nonsexually--I mean in the current atmosphere), or you can be a vocal pedophile activist. It is not nonsense. It is a fact for many of the MAPs who are out. Look at Kevin. His situation was a little different from mine in that he has a criminal record AND he was fighting for his son, but he ultimately made the choice to give up his activism in the name of being able to see his son; that, in my opinion, was the right choice. I know, I know, some people will claim this is a false dilemma, but unless they have been in my or Kevin's position, they will not understand. Many of you take for granted the ability to see the girls you love because your status as MAP is unknown; but those of us who are out have to confront the prejudice head-on and find ways of balancing our political identities with our desire to see the girls we love. It is a difficult choice, but even so in my estimation there is really only one right choice for a girl lover put in this place: you choose the girl. Otherwise you're not so much a girl lover as a politics lover. What is more important to you, seeing your girl or being an activist for a (mostly) lost cause? This is the question I'm asking.
