I'd bet that you are right on those points. I've seen sexuality referred to as a spectrum of attraction and it makes a lot of sense, especially considering that the majority of people caught engaging in sexual contact with Children would identify themselves as Heterosexual. Not to mention that the majority are the child's own parents: According to Federal statistics. I've also considered the possibility that those who molest children or parents who engage in incest get completely caught off guard by their attraction when it does happen. Is there a chance that it could contribute to someone acting out on impulse rather than acting with conscious conduct? Either way, it seems obvious that acknowledging an attraction to Children would put an individual in a position to better monitor their feelings and actions.
