The goal is to prohibit government policies which discriminates based on age, and to get the general population to recognize that it is a bad thing. The latter is absolutely vital to seeing any lasting progress towards youth rights and would naturally lead to the former.

Government should be able to act to protect a person's rights upon the request of a young person whose rights are being violated.
