Re: The great irony for parental control advocates

What do you suppose life was like for children living in the Dark Ages? If they tried to leave an abusive household they ran the risk of being kidnapped or starving to Death. Experience is one of the major power differences between Children and Adults and more often than not, societies have actively exploited this in order to confine and indoctrinate their young. Getting rid of the State won't change this, only making sources of education so abundant that everyone has a fair chance to better themselves and gain a means of livelihood will.
Of course it doesn't help that Conservatives in America clearly want nothing more than to bring the World back to the state that it existed in during the Dark Ages. Huzzah!
