What will stop parents from forcing their kids not to seek emancipation, not to allow their kids to work if they so choose, or simply not to honor the newly established youth freedom in any way if the state doesn't protect this emancipation?

The pregnant 10yo could easily have fled and run away with her boyfriend. Easily.

It was the state that made it difficult.

To think that the state can change its role so radically as to enforce her rights instead of what it did, is quite a leap; almost as hard to fathom as a society without state. Imho.
