I do not believe in giving the state authority over the parents.

Firstly, you are not going to see the type of youth liberation you want under the current system. What you are likely to see is a state in which parents fear their own children. An even greater police state. Your ideals simply don't match with the reality of what is prone to happen if parental authority is replaced by State authority. It is not a good idea to criminalize parents for how they raise their own children.
