...neither LOD or Consequent agree with parental ownership, and I believe that is what you were trying to get at here. They are simply against the concept of the state, as am I. However, I do realize that for as long as the state continues to exist, we have to do our best to make it work for us, and like it or not, as long as capitalism continues to exist, we have to rely on the state (at least in large measure) to preserve order and enforce civil rights. There are some youth liberationists who likewise hate the concept of the state, but none of them agree with parental ownership in place of the state.

What I would like LOD and Consequent to do is explain who is going to enforce youth rights if youth lib is established under the current system, before we switch to a stateless society.
