You have to take into account that current Libertarianism is based on an almost dogmatic principle of non-initiation of force. However, like mainstream Liberalism, it is informed from the current mainstream feminist and gay agendas. Like most Liberals, most Libertarians have come to buy the notion that intergen relationships are, just because they are intergen, instances of initiation of force.
You'd be more successful if you addressed the point that the initiation of force comes from the state, not the paed. But you cannot do that because you don't believe that.
That is, of course, for Libertarians who do buy the whole package. Current America is full of half-libertarians who adhere to the fiscal small government philosophy but many of them don't adhere to free markets, free international trade and free migration. Even less so to small government in law-and-order issues and drugs issues. And then even less to small government in sexual issues. Despite the fact that drugs and sex have long been an issue in the agendas of full Libertarians. Obviously these are correctly labelled fiscal conservatives, and are correctly pointed at as potential allies of Libertarians, but they are not Libertarians in any meaningful sense.
Your experience with Atheists is also probably dependant on your own background. Atheists in a Protestant country are, in my own experience, different from Atheists in a Catholic country - where Pedophilia is one of the Evils of Religion, not the opposite.
