Atheists

My experience with atheists has been quite positive on the whole. As you know, I post at DU which is a forum designed for atheists. I have provided a lot of CLer stuff and provoked many debates over related issues, and a few people were hostile to me initially, but I was never banned and now I consider most of those guys and gals friends. I have changed opinions of us for the better, as several people have admitted. Atheists are usually open to science, so I presented the science to back up my claims and have gotten quite a few positive responses to it. I've had far worse experiences with theists than with atheists, generally speaking. My own sister, a staunch Christian, refused to let me around her children for a couple of years after she found out. Now she realizes I'm not and never have been a threat to them, but it took years to persuade her.
