On the third day, when I got to her house, she was wearing a lovely colourful summer dress and was making a pretend flute out of an empty paper towel roll. That day we were all driving out to my aunt’s house for the afternoon. She has an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. My girl and I were chilling out in the backyard on a hammock when she expressed disappointment that I hadn’t brought any swimming trunks with me. I told her I could ask my aunt if I could borrow someone else’s, and her face lit up in delight! I still don’t know how to swim, so she had a much easier time moving around in the pool, and naturally won all the races from one end to the other, as I had to use one of those foam noodles to stay afloat. After some time we went into the hot tub together, I had to laugh to myself at the sexual connotations of a hot tub, but of course it was nothing like that, haha. We just spent some time trying to figure out how to turn on the jets and watched the fancy lights in the tub change colour.

Later that day we played with some plastic dinosaurs on the grass in my aunts backyard. She wanted to put all the same kind of dinosaurs into separate piles, and was very particular about it. I was putting ones together that looked similar but she’d correct me and tell me they were different kinds. For some reason she all of a sudden became bored with the dinosaurs and abruptly left to go do something else. It was late by the time we all got back to her house, and she had to go to bed right away.

When I got to her house on the fourth day, she was just getting home from school. She had been on a field trip somewhere. I’m not sure where they went but for some reason her hands were entirely covered in green paint. She said she wished she could cover her entire body with green paint and dress up as the statue of liberty, heehee.

Anyway, we spent some more time down in her playroom. She put on a bunch of random costumes and did a little play for me. It was short and mostly filled with gibberish that I couldn’t understand, but made me smile. We then spent some more time just hanging out and watching TV. I was on the couch and she turned her little kids mattress into a fort by turning it on it’s side and putting a blanket over it for a roof. Eventually her Grandfather came down and told her she had to go to bed. I went upstairs and waited in the kitchen for her to come down and say goodnight. I gave her one last hug and said goodbye.

That’s pretty much it. I had lots of fun with her, and I really miss her a lot actually. I hope I get to be her friend for life.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed.
