In the U.S. the media and the courts use "assault" to refer to every possible sexual contact with someone under the magic age, whether it's assault or not. It might be different in Norway, but I doubt it. Just because he's charged with 57 "assaults" is no evidence that he assaulted anyone. I withhold judgement until I have the facts, which I doubt anyone here will ever have. Everything else you said is based on that unwarranted assumption.
