I'm speaking from a context where I see that there is a distinct difference between orientation and how a person chooses to express that orientation. A Pedophile or Hebephile is not in any way innately an individual who considers a propensity to commit Sexual assaults as part of their orientation, they simply find persons outside of a socially accepted age range sexually attractive. They are no more likely to force themselves on a young person than a heterosexual male. Therefore, their orientation is not their primary, defining characteristic and it should not be in the first place. As opposed to person with sociopathic tendencies who will act without consideration to the persons in their attraction base. The anti-social tendencies and how they choose to express their desires are what define them one way or another rather than their orientation itself. This is a very important distinction and one that society needs to recognize.
