Are you tying to bait or are you really that hung up on this whole double standard thing? First of all, I'll grant that maybe I should have mentioned that I'd had other experiences with this individual where he acted without regard for other peoples feelings and clearly had no compulsions or remorse over his behaviors. A recognized characteristic of a sociopath. I wouldn't have mentioned this incident if it had been a consensual encounter but I knew that they were not dating and I saw her pull her hand away and get upset. Furthermore, those are completely different circumstances, people go to parties and get drunk possibly with the hope that someone will grope them.

Says who though? Without proof such an assertion remains purely subjective.

I would imagine that the majority of people have some means of clearly stating or otherwise communicating that they are interested in someone sexually; Unless a strong emotional bond forms where the sexual act is a mutually agreed upon extension of this. If someone is looking for a fling it sure would be polite to inform the other party instead of springing a grope session on them all of a sudden.
