If you meant self-defeatism because I am not moving about the 13yo, that is not self-defeatism. I am only being a realist: she has a crush already, so she isn't likely to pay attention to any other guys except for Taylor Lautner. All that other guys can do, including me, is wait until she loses interest. And then, though of course I'd rather the crush be on me, I really don't disapprove her choice (unlike that of other similarly aged girls), so I don't see a reason to even try to intervene.

Besides, the whole description of the 13yo was a red herring. A nice red herring, but still only that. My real focus is the 9yo.
