It's not about the uniqueness of an argument but the strength and validity of it

Yet, right after you said that, you set up a motive and started attacking it. A person's motive whether real or imagined DOES NOT effect the strength or validity of an argument.

For instance, what difference does motive make for claiming 2 + 2 = 4? It's true, no matter what my motive is for believing it.
