How many people are incarcerated compared to 1920?
Posted by Love2uall on 2010-June-04 23:38:18 EDT, FridayFrom Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incarceration_in_the_United_States#Criticism
the number of incarcerated people in the US in 1920 was around 125 000.
Today nearly 2 500 000 people are incarcerated.
All is going great, "society" is in good health, the legal system is a good and intelligent system.... for commerce at least...
The prison industry is doing great and corporations have the availability of more and more people reduced to imposed cheap labour, not to say that I heard that bonds are also exchanged when someone goes in prison so more money is made...
So is it really in order to protect the population and reduce the crime rate that people are sent to prison?
A rising crime rate it seems is good for commerce.
As a citizen of the United States of America you suffer in order to maintain the economy, to keep IT in good health, not you.
As a citizen of the United States of America you lose your natural rights in order to maintain the economy.
As a citizen of the United States of America you are being played on fears to maintain the economy, to the point of lying and hiding important facts that would completely change the outcome.
As a citizen of the United States of America you are made to believe that it's absolutely normal and correct, and that it's the times that are changing for the better, that protection is more efficient today that there's more people in prisons than ever.
As a citizen of the United States of America you are being told that the people in prisons are evil and bad and deserve to be there.
But it's not only the US.
However the US is currently the champion. U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!...
But all is good!, it's the fault of those goddamn pedophiles, of those goddamn drug dealers, thiefs and murderers if we have problems (funny that there's more and more of those though, oh but ya, it's because the protection now is more efficient!), and the US is doing a wonderful job in keeping streets safe for the children to... to do what?... Are there any children in the streets anyways?...
It's funny but, the more people in prisons the less safe the population is becoming, since there's more and more crimes... Ahah!
The more laws, the more people incarcerated.
Laws work! They generate profits like one has never dreamed of.
That's what happens when one gives authority to another man, his equal, as a citizen of anywhere you are letting 100% power and authority over everything about yourself to the one you're giving this very valuable gift, it's simply the same situation as a child to its parents: a citizen needs mommy and daddy government/society/system to think for himself because he's completely impotent. ;)
What follows goes more into the depth of what seems to actually be going on and may not be easy to understand if you're not much into this, but can be very interesting nonetheless.
A citizen is a legal title given to legal persons.
Are you a legal person?
It is legally recognized that all men are created equal.
So no other man can have power over yourself unless you choose to give him that power, and that's recognized and accepted by the legal system.
Society is the creation of another man (men), so it can't have authority over me as a man only if I choose to.
So any other title than man is a legal title created and recognized in the legal system, therefore UNDER the legal system, therefore giving that system authority over yourself if you're under any legal title BUT man.
The legal system is about money, commerce, money is its blood. Money is the blood of the entire system.
So when one is anything BUT man he's playing the game of commerce where anything can happen.
No one today can survive without money (I won't get into the tribes living "naturally" and all this stuff, it's not needed right now):
one needs money to buy food, to get shelter and clothes etc...
Sure one could grow its own food, but in order to do that one needs a piece of land, that piece of land is protected by the state, where will one get the money to pay for that piece of land?
Where will one get what's needed to build the home?
Etc...
We are discovering that the government are actually trustees there to protect man:
the government pledged all assets (the fruits of men, women and children's labour) when it became bankrupt in the 1930s, therefore keeps everything in trust until man shows up (not a legal title, MAN alone), and gave man a birth certificate with a legal name in order to play the game of commerce with the legal name on it, so when one is being that legal name he's being anything BUT a man (any and all legal titles are under the legal name: citizen, driver, thief, pedophile, worker, debtor... All are legal titles belonging to the legal world, not the free man's world).
Since man doesn't show up to claim his sort of heritage (what's been pledged by the governments, man's labour (assets)) man stays a legal and voluntary slave of the system.
That's how the system (society) has authority over you, because you're using its own creations (legal titles, money etc...).
To dispute, argue or contest something in that system will never make you win in the end, since you're actually asking Big Daddy for permission.
Someone who's free doesn't give a shit about rules of a system made by another of his equal since he's not into that other man's creation if he doesn't want to.
By making it known that you're a man, an equal of the men who have created that society, and that you do not consent to be any lesser than a man (no other title than) the system cannot force you to be part of it, since it would become involuntary slavery (which has been abolished within that system), and the constitution/human rights of that system say that no one can let someone die etc..., so it will have to make certain that you're ok...
On top of that you can claim your heritage that the government pledged without your knowledge.
That's what some people are working on.
But will you fall for the fears the 'pro-society freaks' will play on in order for you to stay in?... :p
(Like the media, often made of fanaticals, fear-blinded people who might've not yet push their reflections very far etc...)
Muwahahah! ;)
Anyways, I explained what I study to the best of my understanding so far.
I won't explain any further, I don't want to get into looong replies, there would be a lot more to say, but if one is interested in all of this he can go see Vic's website at http://spiritualeconomics.zoomshare.com/
