I would like to think that I could tell the difference between a girl willingly kissing a man and being forced into something. It's not always clear cut, as you said, but in many cases, it is. As I said to Sancho, such a reaction is fully understandable, but if you catch someone harming a child, and it's obvious that demonstrable harm is being inflicted upon the child in question, then I do not think a severe reaction would be disproportionate to what the man in question was doing.
