Yes, my main point was that cults are not based around ideology as much as they are personality. You have this person with a very attractive charismatic celebrity-like energy and people want to him liked by him so much that they start to almost worship the person. Puzzled may have had status, but not the personality or the presense. But I don't think anyone goes truely above this. We are all intimitated by status to a certain degree, we don't want to be seen fighting with someone we feel is above us or has accomplished more than us.
