Don't worry - I don't think you came across as being aggressive. Just stating your views, that's all.

I've read your reply to me, btw, and I'll answer it in a little while.

I'm very sorry to hear that you've been a victim of violence. How are you? I hope that you weren't too badly hurt. I know how it feels, it's happened to me as well, so I will admit that perhaps I shot my mouth off without thinking clearly, and I should have known better.

Anyhow, let us know how you are. If you want to talk about it, I'm more than happy to listen.
