there is the most vunerability for a cult-like appearance to form. Most people here are very upset and desperate for a leader. Such a person could easily form a following. It's not all about presense either but status. People don't want to argue with someone who they feel has very high status in the community. If they do disagree, they will be sure to be extra polite.

Remember when Puzzled came on here, I swear Kero must have cried himself to sleep that day because, you see, it's very difficult to argue with someone you feel a lot of respect for and view as having high status.
