Amazing food for thought, Roc. I may be coming to slightly different conclusions on what I believe constitutes excesses of parent power, as a result of all you've said here.
As for Dr. Laura, she makes me sick. I've heard and read, on a few occasions, bits and pieces of her shit. And that's all it is - "shit". Scary, horrible, bitter shit.
