Sorry, after a couple of hours writing, I carelessly put this here. I wanted it to go to a new topic, but I was going to reply to yours also.

What I will say to this is, I do not think they are being honest with you.
I do not think when they say, "Children cannot consent" that they believe it. They say this because they know the threat that could come to their dominance over youth if they were to be liberated. Read my post for more on this topic, I went into depth on the control aspect.
