Yes. As a matter of fact, Switzerland, not Texas, has the world's highest rate of gun ownership. Obama would have been crucified there with the "clinging to guns and religion" slip-up.

But unlike the USA, Switzerland hasn't fought a war for 500 years (although Swiss soldiers-of-Fortune have and still do). Proving that a truly citizen army makes for a peaceful country.
