"The Internet is definitely giving a lending hand in todays mass hysteria. People like no other time in history can come together and inform or give disinformation which the masses tend to follow. As long as it sounds "reasonable" it will be something which begets paranoia. People need to read about a particular subject and look at facts, facts and studies done by professionals on both side of the subject. Till then leave the hysteria and hate at home."

To be fair, that people can come together and inform each other can possibly mean that ignorance about this and oter issues can be more easily expelled.

But I agree, it can go both ways, and we're just going to have to wait and see which way it's going to go regarding this issue.
