This does not surprise me at all. The prosecution certainly will not want the jury to know about Jury Nullification. When it comes to the legal system they are concerned about convictions. The D.A doesn't care about guilt or innocence, it's all about numbers.

Maybe the public should be made aware of Jury Nullification. Then maybe some draconian laws would vanish into the night.
