It's just that i hear this story about a sport teacher having sex with 12-16 years old young players and now he is convicted for pedophilia.

No, he was most likely convicted for having sex with a minor.

Well I've heard a six year old say she has a boyfriend. They may not have been actually intimate with each other, but she could have been attracted to him. Aside from that many start having sexual relations at around 12 or even some form of intimate relations before that.

I have read somewhere that even thought an adult with a 15 years old is illegal in Canada. They can't stop you from having a romance with one. Is that true ?

I doubt that's true. If they are below the age of consent, then one is probably in deep trouble. In fact I'd say one could get into some form of trouble even at 16, if the parents aren't ok with it. Certainly when the age of consent was 14 one could get in deep shit, even though technically it would have been legal.

If this sixteen year old really likes you, just spend some wonderful quality time together, and even though the age of consent is sixteen, I'd wait a couple of years before you have any sexual relations. Preferably when she doesn't live at home.
