I'm definitely not a fan of Scientology. I think it's an elitist sham of a religion, already declared such by L. Ron himself.

That out of the way, I'd agree 100% than many mental illnesses and deficiencies are the direct result of cultural imperatives.

For brownie points, who can name the APA's mental disorder for a need to masturbate?
