Re: Child porn laws impose costs on artists

When difference between art and cp all of a sudden is going to be even more of a blur, this is a sad event for the art world everywhere as we slip farther and farther into the modern dark age of unenlightenment. Who will determine what is art and what is child porn? The DOJ? Are these people even trained in art? Did they go to a school of higher education to study art and it's history? Nude children have been in art for ages. Are those pictures going to be classified as child porn because some snooty person of false values decides in his/her infinite wisdom that these pictures should be deemed cp and put in the museum archives so a future generation of enlightened people may enjoy? What about the art pictures Sally Mann took of her children, they are nude in some of them, are these cp? What of the pictures of Eva Ionseco taken by her mother Irina, are these books going to be banned from the book stores and public because of this modern day hysteria? Is the public going to let our freedoms destroyed little by little till we have none? After nude children runs it's course it will continue on to clothed children. Someone who isn't fit to decide will choose what's appropriate or not. Is this what society wants? Our freedoms to erode? Taken away by someone who wants to control each and everyone of us.
