Tough time to be a little girl, methink"
Well the girl obviously had at least something to do with it by just being a girl--were she an obese, hairy hobo, this most likely would not have occured.
But she is extremely indirectly at fault, for there are reasons why the abuser killed her. Would there have been no legal repercussions of the killer being sexually invovled with her, chances are that he would not have killed her (unless, of course, he was just a sociopathic serial killer, in which case would mean that it is not the girl's fault at all because serial killers typically kill indiscriminately).
The absence of legal repercussions is sometimes not enough to prevent this type of occurrence--an absence of social repercussions would also aid in preventing this.
Seriously, who kills people after they have sex with them? People who do are sociopathic serial killers, and since this is the case, it could be strongly argued that the problem here isn't pedo/ephebophilia, but rather, it is gross socipathy.
Stigmitizing pedo/ephebophilia does nothing but increase the prevalence of these type of incidents because this stigmitization, if anything, irks those with sociopathological tendencies who happen to be GLers, and does nothing to prevent non-sociopathic GLers from committing violent acts since they aren't predisposed to doing so.
It doesn't make GLers love for girls go away, either, not in the least, and only forces them to suppress their natural tendencies--we all know where sexual repression leads to, now, don't we..?
