I think a good way to combat school bullying is to stick the bullies in classes where there are older children--such students would probably be intimidated by the older students, and over time, their bullying tendencies may fade since they will get used to behaving in a non-bullying fashion.

Unfortunately, though, the way modern cumpolsury education operates could not allow this. Classes today are usually composed of students who are basically exactly the same age as each other, which I personally perceive as being extremely odd. I think that, if anything, classes should be organized into groups that are designed to produce the least amount of conflict--instead of there being one single teacher, students should be given lesson plans in the form of packets, and there should be a few tutors who assist students whenever they ask for help.

If I ever had kids, I would never allow them to join a public school; I think that public schools traumatize all humans.
