The proposal to add post-pubescent attracted individuals to the pedophilia categorization in DSM-V amounts to forcing the psychiatric profession to get in line behind lawmakers. I assert that a medical profession which caters its diagnoses to the preexisting laws (instead of directing those laws) is an undeniable indicator of fascism. As such, the APA will lose legitimacy, and become a greater target for the ire of those who believe they are persecuted by them.
