I've been there, FireyOne, and know that horrible sick-to-your-stomach feeling. Hang in there, though. The others have given good advice. Talk to a lawyer. Don't say anything to the police until you've spoken with a lawyer. Without more information, I can't give you any more advice, but I hope this is something than can (and will) blow over.
